Intuitive Body clients are saying…
“In the short time I have been working with Lisa, I have experienced profound shifts in my perception about myself, my “food issues”, my relationships with people close to me and my emotional eating. Through Lisa’s gentle but powerful coaching I have gained understanding, practical knowledge and most importantly – support, support and more support for the journey. I love working with Lisa for her warmth, her humour and her deep empathy. I am calm (and joyful) in the knowledge that I am well on my way to conquering my emotional eating in a timeframe that is comfortable for me. Lisa has the safe hands to guide me along the way.” - Deb Nicholson, Melbourne
“What led me to Lisa and Intuitive Body, was years of self torment and punitive behavior towards my spirit, my life and my truth. I had spent many years committed to anxiety and disappointment in my achievements, disguised as a “body image problem.” Through self kindness rituals, guided discovery and gentle prompting, Lisa has empowered me to relearn self love and release self judgement as a discipline. Her willingness to share pieces of her history and commitment to her own well being, creates an even playing field which in turn fosters deep connection and hopefulness. She is deliberate and earnest in her approach, making one feel safe and cared for in the most tender of moments. While my journey of self discovery shall continue to evolve, through my work with Lisa, I have been equipped with tools and resources that continue to serve me and aid tremendously in my transformation.” - Myriam, 43 California
“I invested money with Lisa (from my college loans) because I knew she had something to offer me that I hadn’t found in a therapist before. I have a history of anxious overeating/bingeing combined with exercising to purge and the pain that created those dynamics was still swirling beneath the surface and I had never understood WHY I overate and purged.
Lisa told me she worked fast -That was an understatement! We have been working together for 10 weeks and my way of living has changed entirely. Lisa has helped me reframe my relationship with my mother, which is something I never expected to get out of this work. She helped me move through the grief of my relationship ending. She helped me shine a light into my perfectionism, why I have chosen the friendships I have, and how all of these are the same dynamics that led me to binge/purge in the past.
What sets Lisa apart from other therapists I have worked with is her method, intuition, and no-BS approach. We have a skype session for one hour a week and email everyday. This combo is key. The emails allow me to unload the small things from each day that happen and get instant feedback. I look forward to waking up to an email from her each day. When it comes time for our weekly session, we never need to catch up, instead we get right into our work. Lisa’s intuition combined with her no-BS approach means that she ”calls me out” whenever necessary, but she has a very soft way of doing so.
Now? 10 weeks later? Well, I have run through a storm without a scratch. Together, Lisa and I identified which dynamics led me to overeat, to drink, to seek narcissistic men to date and women to befriend, to dampen my brightness for fear of reproach, and to see myself as a general “too much.” I’m so grateful. I recommend this work to anyone who has been able to get by and survive, while secretly hoping that they have more to offer the world. Lisa will help you clear your path.”
- Jessica, 27 Hawaii
“I’m really glad that I made the decision to get help from Lisa. Since I have been working with her, my emotional eating has reduced a lot and so has my weight. Also a lot of the mystery and shame involved has become more clear to me and I have been able to understand more about disordered eating and how to prevent it. When I first started working with Lisa, I was in a place of complete doubt and hopeless – I sincerely believed there wasn’t a possible way to change my out of control binge eating. But I tried it anyway, just in case I was wrong, and I was totally wrong! Within only a couple weeks, I noticed change in myself, my eating and my happiness that seems to grow daily. It’s certainly not easy or without hard work or commitment or difficult emotions, but that’s why it works. However with Lisa’s advice and activities, your own determination and work are taken a lot further than on their own, and you won’t give up either. Lisa’s program and delivery style is effective and obviously comes from an experienced and passionate therapist. I would absolutely recommend Lisa to anyone who is struggling with emotional eating, binge eating, compulsive over eating, or any other kind of disordered eating. - Lacey, 28 Alberta
“The thing about working with Lisa that truly separates it from so many of the other coaching products and programs out there is the level of support and care that you will receive in working with her. For me, and I’m certain for many women who struggle with food, recovery is about getting really honest about the relationships, beliefs, and pain beneath the symptoms of overeating or lack of self-care. This is not Bandaid work. This work is about coming out of hiding and having your process lovingly witnessed and tended to by someone who has the intuitive and clinical skills to hold safe space for you. This work is about digging deep to collaborate in cultivating a relationship where old habits and coping skill can be re-patterned.
I could not have done this work on my own, and the most important lesson that I have learned in working with Lisa is that I have a choice and I don’t have to to do this work alone. I have learned that I am absolutely deserving of a support network, and that has made all the difference.”
- Mara, 27 Massachusetts
“I have worked with Lisa for two years. I had been trapped in a cycle of dieting and binging and using food to numb every uncomfortable feeling for most of my life. I had little sense of who I was or where I was going after several years of taking care of everyone else’s needs but my own. The only thing I was certain of was that I couldn’t bear this way of life any longer. The feelings of failure after each diet attempt or exercise plan left me with little hope that I could feel free and comfortable in my body. I was always after the quick fix or fad to lose weight, but would feel so deprived that I would inevitably start binging once again.
One day I found Lisa’s website, and I knew in my bones that this was different. First of all, I knew Lisa understood because she has lived it. That makes all the difference. Her unique approach combining therapy with spirituality and energy work (and a lot of caring and compassion) has helped me heal like nothing else. She also keeps up-to-date with the latest scientific information about nutritional healing, supplements and food sensitivities. Of course when we first started, I thought I’d have this figured out in a month or two. But with Lisa’s loving guidance, I realized this was a gradual day-by-day process, and I decided to give myself the gift of working with her for one year. I realized after one year that my journey was still ongoing, so I decided to work with her for a second year. This has been one of the most important decisions I ever made and has been worth every penny. After so many years of giving up on myself, I knew I owed myself this amazing opportunity to see this through.
To say my life has changed is such an understatement. I never anticipated that I could feel so much joy each day. I honor myself daily with beautiful practices such as journaling, meditation, movement and delicious healthy food. This helps me stay true to my promise that I won’t torture myself any longer. My marriage has healed in ways I couldn’t imagine a year ago. And, I am embarking on a new career path in an area that I’m excited and passionate about. Lisa has been my therapist, mentor, teacher and friend. My life has improved in every area since our work began. Lisa has brought me home to myself, and that has been such a blessing.” - Liz, 53, Massachusetts
“Making the commitment to work with Lisa has been one of the greatest gifts I’ve given myself. I’ve taken a lot of intensive self-improvement courses, read a lot of books, and “worked hard” at trying to address some of the challenges I still hadn’t overcome when I finally found Lisa. My work with Lisa has been very different though – and profound. She had assured me from the beginning that it would be about gentle shifts and loving self-care, and it truly has been. Her years of experience – combined with her intuitive capabilities – make such a difference in the power of the work with her. I love that she’s been able to help me see patterns and create shifts in areas where my beliefs and behaviors haven’t served me for a long time. At the core of the work with her is a gentle, non-judgmental acceptance of where we’re at right now – and then the assistance looking at what serves us and what may not serve us.
I also love her approach to creating sacred space for ourselves and truly nourishing what our souls are really hungry for. It’s amazing how much more joy I felt just adding some sacred space for myself in my own home and some sacred activities in my life. I’ve also been so appreciative of how many aspects of my life have benefitted from Lisa’s loving, practical approach to the issues we’ve discussed. She’s helped me become a better parent, a better spouse, a better friend, and a more effective leader where I work. And I see the blessing extend to those around me as I have shifted my beliefs and behaviors – and have shared the lessons I’m learning from Lisa along the way. And while there have been tears at times as I have acknowledged certain feelings and released things that are no longer serving me, there has also been a lot of laughter, and I love that. It is truly something special to be able to cry and laugh with someone who is totally dedicated to loving and supporting you during your journey of self-awareness and gentle, nourishing self-love.
Thank you Lisa for such constant loving support this past year – and for your very wise ways of helping me work thru so many different challenges. It has really been a wonderful journey.”
- Kim 48, Boston
“I found Lisa when I finally decided that I couldn’t do this alone. I needed help. When we first started I was terrified of letting go of my habits of control, the bingeing, restrictive dieting, calorie counting, over-exercising, etc. They had been with me for so long. I was full of guilt and shame and consumed with my eating issues. As we started, I began letting go of my habits and trying the new things she taught me, I saw hope and real shifts. I do truly feel like I’m recovering myself from underneath my eating and emotions that I hadn’t been dealing with. She’s helped me realize how strong I am and I’m starting to love who I am. I’m so grateful that I found Lisa to be my guide, gently steering me in an organic, intuitive direction. She’s there for me above and beyond.” - Sarah, 29, Louisiana
“Working with Lisa is great. It you are ready to stop listening to simplistic mantras about willpower and figure out what works for you, Lisa helps you understand a larger part of the picture of yourself and WHY you feel compelled to compulsively eat. She understands the twists and turns of the mindset of a sugar addiction or a compulsive food addiction, which, in difficult moments can be very helpful! She can help you slowly build up your strength to face it, all the way asking you to define your own boundaries and borders on what works for you, yet also challenging you in your assumptions, challenging you to leave your mind and go into the body, or accepting you right where you are. She helps you build lifelong habits that hold you in balance.
Lisa helped me understand the paths toward connection with my own self, and the goal is no longer trying to not eat sugar, but understanding myself. A more balanced life, nourishing habits, and a more complex understanding of my own mindgames and compulsive habits, as well as a healthier body are all pieces that come along when you go on a journey with Lisa to face yourself.”
- Emily 26, Washington
“Until working with Lisa, it had never occurred to me to take note of all the consciously created moments of beauty in my day. I’ve always been nurtured by those times I’ve stopped to smell the roses, sit on a beach to stare out at the sea, wear my favorite fragrance, take an extra minute to brush my hair (just because it feels so good). Sure! But to focus on these times and record them has been a life-shifting practice that turns my compulsive ways towards positive rituals and self-care. I’m also learning how to make space for my feelings; to honor them; to let them breathe and simply be. In 5 weeks I’ve learned so much. I’m forever grateful.” - Jennifer, 40 San Francisco
“My experience in working with Lisa was quite remarkable. She was able to help me see/reframe my approach and slow down my efforts to heal my relationship with food. Her suggestions helped me to see that self-care is so much more than a once a week massage (a wonderful tool, but not the whole story). Lisa helped me to see that Self care and nurturing is a gift I can give myself every day. Beauty, spiritual resources, nature have been around me all the time, I am now able to draw on them for inner strength when needed. I needed to pull back my constant care of others and focus on myself. She also helped me to see that using my intuition and choosing healthy, beautiful foods is not about deprivation. I am able to look at what I can do not what I can’t do! Giving up ‘dieting’ has been hard as it seemed to by my only resource for losing weight. With Lisa’s help I now have a whole new bag of tools to use for my own health and nourishment of both mind, body and spirit. The investment of dollars was well worth it and I would recommend working with Lisa as a gift you can give yourself. I find I can spend money on lots of things trying to find peace and it doesn’t work, putting money into working with Lisa was/is an investment that continues to give me great dividends.” - Lynette, Washington
“Choosing to work with Lisa was one of the best and kindest-to-myself decisions I’ve made in a long time. She is truly a gifted guide and wayshower on this intimate journey. As anyone who has struggled with disordered eating understands, it’s never just about the food and our relationship with it. It’s about healing and making peace and setting boundaries and nurturing yourself and finding ways to honor who you are in every moment, and a whole myriad of other things. We all looking for ways to be fully ourselves, nurtured and nourished. And when we’re in the place where clearly the old things we’ve been doing don’t work and bring us more pain than peace, then we’re ready for this journey. Lisa’s program is truly unlike anything else available I’ve ever seen – it’s multi-modal; and addresses the WHOLE YOU. There are certainly practical results to be had; behavior and eating changes that are nurturing and supportive as opposed to depriving and restrictive. But there’s so much more, and so many different and helpful approaches and resources she offers. Visioning, journaling, flower essence support, working with bilateral sound programs, guided meditations, energy work – the list is endless and she’s always offering lovely and helpful surprises.
Working with her is both grounding and expansive. But it’s Lisa herself that brings the magic to it all. She’s truly brilliant, and brings so much to the table with her blending of skills as psychotherapist and intuitive. She is so encouraging; so full of resources; so ready and able to support you towards the vision you hold for yourself. For me she’s provided lots of hand-holding support during the difficult pieces; witnessing my journey; reminding me of my vision when it felt out of sight; always offering helpful strategies and support. She also brings a totally refreshing lightness to this work – helping make it fun, and playful, and exciting. Her intuitive skills are simply wonderful. Certainly it is a big financial commitment; but SO worth it in my opinion. It’s meant to be a serious commitment – truly changing how you are with yourself necessitates true commitment and work. Everything I’ve received has far exceeded the money I’ve spent. I feel a thousand times better about myself; I have lots of new skills and tools to use and I’m using them; and every day I am nearer to the vision of myself I created when I began working with Lisa. I am enormously grateful to Lisa. This journey has been one of the best gifts I’ve given myself.” - Deborah, Chicago
“I have worked with a mind-body therapist. taken a mindful eating course as well as done much traditional therapy. While all this has helped me, I can honestly say that NOTHING has felt as right or true for me as the work I have been doing with you. I feel that I have been guided to you by divine power and I am here at exactly the right time for me.” - Diane, Maryland
I’ve worked with Lisa now for only two months, but already feel this huge shift taking place. I’m learning that this isn’t about eating broccoli instead of ice cream….it’s about learning what I’m really hungry for and how to nurture myself. Lisa helps me keep my promises to myself to be consistent with things like daily journalling, exercise and nourishing myself with delicious food. With a compassionate and loving approach, Lisa is helping me uncover the layers to get to the essence of why I use food to avoid my emotions.
This is not about not eating carbs or counting points, it’s about honoring my needs and nurturing myself. As a wife and mother I’m great at meeting everyone else’s needs, and have really suffered as a result. I am taking care of me now. I feel very strongly that we need to invest in ourselves to find true well-being. When I think of the past two months and how changed I feel and how happy I am (and yes, the pounds are starting to come off too!!), I know that every penny I’ve spent to work with Lisa has been worth it. I addition to weekly sessions, I can also call or email her if I need support or just want to share a success. With Lisa’s help, the real me is beginning to emerge, and I really like her.” - Liz, Wellness Professional, Massachusetts
“Dear Lisa-I loved how holistic therapy was with you… how you always, always considered me a spiritual, physical, emotional, artistic, sexual, ageless individual. I felt like you were truly nurturing a deeper, life-long, holistic journey of self-discovery—instead of just isolating certain “problems” to fix in a 30-something-year-old. Your intuitive nature also, I believe, created an absolutely authentic space for client and therapist to co-exist… and made it more possible to actualize the TRUE, holistic self of the client. However, the positive ripple-effect of the work we did together still appears on a daily basis in my life … so, more often than not, when I “miss” therapy with you, I feel empowered and centered—not homesick or incomplete. *I think this speaks volumes about how life-affirming your practice is!!!” - Alyssa, Massachusetts
“My Dear Friend Lisa: My life has totally changed since I began your program. In the beginning there were subtle changes that made me smile and realize I was FINALLY on the right path. I believe it was the Universe winking at me at telling me that I had found the person who would forever change the way I thought about myself. After several weeks of receiving these ‘messages’I started BELIEVING in your process. I let go of all my ‘stories’ and decided to love myself right where I was in life. It’s been a lot of work but over these few weeks I’ve been able to set myself free from the self inflicted chains that I so carefully tied myself up with over the years. I began to realize my worth and start the process of valuing myself each and every day. I meditate each morning, journal and only eat food that makes me feel good…I’m finally taking care of ME and I love it! I have a ton more energy and my outlook on life is as good as it’s ever been. I know deep in my soul that I’m worth every ounce of time I give to myself and that I matter! !
Thank you for being there when I was ready to receive you into my life. I feel like a new woman!!! I can’t wait to see what else I learn from you! ” Kim, 57 Florida
“Hi Lisa- I am doing so well and I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. You have gotten me to a place I dreamed of, and here I am. I am living the vision I created of myself living in the world.
There are a few things that stand out to me about your teachings and guidance. First, your help in allowing me to see that the issue wasn’t really about the food, it was about my thinking. Second, you called me to live a life of imperfection and beauty. You helped me to see life for what it really is, and not try to control it or others. Third, you opened my eyes to the divine. It is all around me, it is in me, it is freely given and the divine so wants me to be a part of it. The piece you wrote about needing to be the weight you are meant to be really called to me. Finally, the biggest shift came from your repeated messages about food: ‘Its a lie’ Understanding that my experimentation, my ‘i don’t care, i want it’ attitude, buying stuff for the kids — all of these are lies. And that has bounced me back into the present moment.
Thank you so much Lisa for your help. I am so grateful that we crossed paths. I know you have changed mine.” Mary Jo, Atlanta
“I cannot describe to you how much I have learned about myself through our work together. In our first session together, I realized how very intuitive you were – that you really ‘got’ me, how I operated, what I was feeling, and what I would need to feel better. I have had other therapists in the past – you were the first to really listen to me and I could feel how much you wanted to help me. Your approach is alternative, but it made me feel comfortable and it really WORKED! You have armed me with the knowledge, the confidence and the strength to believe in and pursue my own dreams and aspirations. You truly understand me and have given me unwavering support and guidance throughout our sessions. You were available outside of our sessions through email and even for quick ‘support’ chats – those were crucial moments for me and it made such a difference. I cannot thank you enough for the beauty that you have brought out in me. You have encouraged me to explore new avenues and taught me to be self-sufficient, strong, and trusting in my own needs and beliefs. I now have the faith and the strength to trust my intuition and for that gift I will be forever grateful.
Thank you again so very much for all that you have done for me. I will keep your thoughts and inspiration with me always.”Brooke 33, New York
You have changed every single aspect of my life! I came because I literally couldn’t stop binging and not only have I stopped, I’ve lost almost 30 lbs., have some amazing new habits like meditation and writing to keep me balanced, and….have a relationship with a man that is unlike anything I’ve had before. I know there are no miracle-cures, but Lisa, you did for me what no other program and no other therapist could. I can’t thank you enough. At 32 my life has become exactly what I’d hoped for, for SO long. I hope every other woman who is making herself sick with food finds you and HIRES you- you are beyond ‘worth it’. Love always-” - Ali, California
“Thank you for giving me my life back- I work in the entertainment industry as a producer in L.A. and I knew I was going to lose my job if I didn’t get a handle on my bulimia. I couldn’t stop binge eating and I was terrified that somebody was going to find out. The shame of all of this, plus my inability to function normally was at an all time crisis point when I found you. Within days of our first phone-session (and the daily emails you made me send!) my symptoms had completely calmed down. Honestly, after just 3 months of working with you, I am in my groove. I can work, I am dating, I’m enjoying my crazy busy life. You are amazing, and you make it so easy to get better. I felt like you just cut through the nonsense and showed me what to do, and for some reason I could do everything you asked me to do. Thank you thank you” - H. age 27, Producer, L.A.
“You’re like a 24-7 source of support for those suffering from this isolated, often shameful problem- FREE of judgement or ridicule. There is something so powerful and benefical about connecting with somebody who understands, who has been there, and who’s worked on the same exact issues. My work with you is giving me a permanent solution to my two year struggle. Thank you, Lisa!!! ” - Stacey, 28, Washington D.C.
“I had put myself through the cycle of deprivation one too many times in the past and it just never worked. So, Lisa helped me to come up with a plan to focus on the things I was doing on a daily basis to take care of myself vs. what I was taking away. I set a goal to not eat chocolate for a week and also to reflect daily on the positive things I was doing for myself. After a week, I suddenly realized that not only did I not eat any chocolate but I was so distracted with making my lists, and all the good things I was adding to my days, that I hadn’t even missed it! Right now I haven’t had any chocolate for going on 3 weeks and I feel so good – not deprived at all!” - Melanie, Europe
“Before I worked with Lisa I didn’t know if therapy was going to work or not. I was convinced that nobody could say anything that could keep me from making myself sick. I kept asking myself if I was insane or had a mental illness. I was so afraid that therapy wasn’t the answer. My last therapist did not specialize in eating disorders and couldn’t really help me. Since working with Lisa,I have opened up more and felt safer discussing all of the personal parts of this disorder with her. I feel like she understood my bulimia in ways the other therapist could not. I loved our sessions and that she really understands everything about eating disorders. I feel less self-conscious and less worried about how I look. I am much less obsessed, and feeling really good about the ways I am learning to be good to myself.” - Kelly MA.
“Working with Lisa has made me realize and admit to myself many things in my past that have contributed to my eating disorder. Working through these issues isn’t easy but it is comforting to have someone that is willing to listen, offer advice, and help me sort through all of it. Lisa has opened my eyes to other ways of looking at things and healthy alternatives to deal with my feelings other than with food.” - April Ann, 26
“Hi Lisa! First of all, sessions are never long enough for me to let you know how much I appreciate you and all you have to offer- so thank you. From the moment I left your office, I was feeling inspired enough to start planning what I want to do for myself. Since seeing you, food has been less ‘charged’- I have had some good moments of peace and even inspiration. Even though a lot of stuff is coming up, I know that I would not be reacting quite so constructively to my current emotional state if you had not offered me this opportunity to write to you. Much appreciation,” - Erin, age 26
“Before I met Lisa, Bulimia is a word which I avoided with so much fear and denial. I had been dealing with an eating disorder that consumed four years of my life, and struggled with body issues for as long as I could remember. Now through counseling with Lisa I’ve been able to rediscover who I really am, and channel my negative energy into creative arts rather than harming myself. Now I enjoy painting and I am a more talented songwriter/musician and writer -able to truly utilize my talents and have become a strong, independent woman.” - Val, Westford
“Before I met Lisa, I felt alone, powerless, aimless, and worthless. I was constantly struggling around my eating and my weight. I felt like I had no control over the choices I was making. I had convinced myself that I was not ‘enough’. I was not pretty enough, smart enough, successful enough etc. I was tired of constantly feeling inadequate. Now I know how to find peace in these moments. I have learned to listen to my body when it is trying to tell me something. I have reconnected to the real ‘me’ and know how to reconnect when that connection is severed by the countless forces from without and within that face us every day. With Lisa’s help, I now see where my worth lies. Most therapists I’ve met listened to my problems and try to fit me into a ‘mold’ so that they will know how to help you. From our very first session, Lisa accurately sought and found my strengths, even when I was going on about my faults, failures, and weaknesses. She identified strengths in my character that have allowed me to find joy, fulfillment, and perhaps most importantly, contentment.” - Abby J. 24, Massachusetts
“Hi Lisa, I just had an amazing walk this morning, all the birds were out singing, the temperature was great, squirrels, etc. It was just one of those times when I was really in the moment for the whole walk and it felt so great. I just wanted to let you know because it dawned on me that I’ve had lots of those times since I’ve been seeing you and I’m not sure I really had any of times like that, where I just took in the world and life and felt like I was really living before I started seeing you. Even just sitting on my porch, just relaxing, I’ve never given myself that before. So…thank you!” - Andrea, Shirley
“Hi Lisa, Here are my thoughts on what causes you to stand out from your colleagues: professionalism is most important – you are really focused and attentive during our discussions, you seem to do your work before them, too. I don’t think I have ever had the feeling that you were unprepared or ‘phoning it in,’ which is really remarkable and impressive given how long we’ve been working together. ‘Tough-ness’ – you don’t get scared by any topic or even if I get confrontational. You keep your cool. This was THE most important factor of my starting with you. I remember our very first conversation, years back. I said something to you about my situation, and you immediately responded in a helpful way.
BUT then I somewhat competitively came back with a rejoinder. ‘well,’ I said, ‘for me the situation is worse because I do XYZ, too.’ You didn’t get rattled by that *at all* but immediately came back and framed the rejoinder for me, too. I do very strongly remember the feeling I got from talking with you: I felt *safe,* because you obviously both knew what you were doing (were very informed and experienced and professional) and could handle me (strong). Your assertive, confident response really stood out from those of the other therapists I had contacted, and I was highly motivated to work with you.
Intelligence – you are really sharp and smart- our conversations move at a rapid rate, are sometimes discursive, and you keep up. Pragmatic – you don’t just talk theory, but have a large body of practical experience and knowledge that you draw on. i like that a lot.” - H., 43, Boston
“Before I started working with Lisa, I was having daily breakdowns and bingeing/purging almost every time I ate anything. Lisa has been great to work with, because she has a very personal and respectful method of treatment, rather than the sterile and condescending manner with which previous therapists had addressed me. My time with Lisa helped me to understand and deal with my eating issues, as well as my depression. I am now able to focus my energies on more than just counting calories and monitoring minute changes in my weight. I have learned to allow my body to settle into the pattern that are natural for me. I have also made progress in my relationships with difficult family members, establishing boundaries and focusing on my own needs rather than trying to please everyone else. I would recommend Lisa to anyone with body or eating issues.” - Alexandra, Boston
I have spent many hours in session with therapists, both for myself and my family, however I have never had the success I have had with Lisa. Her insights and intuition allow her to engage with me in ways I have never before experienced. Often, my experience involved a person simply listening rather that interacting with me. Lisa’s ability to enter the dialog with effective suggestions and powerful tools has allowed me to acheive a far more balanced approach to life and living. Her insights have always been right on the mark. She is a warm, kind-hearted woman with nothing but the best of intentions for her clients.” - FC, 54, Acton
Working with Lisa has literally changed my life for the better! She has a unique and refreshing approach to counseling, taking particular consideration into the whole person and the life events that mold who we are and the choices that we make. Lisa is highly intuitive and she provides a safe, judgment-free environment where she always seems to know when it’s best to just listen, to give feedback, or to assist in meditation or relaxation. She has nurtured in me a whole new set of valuable life skills and continues to challenge me when necessary. The most valuable skill I have learned from her is to look to my body for answers and to trust what it has to tell me. With this and many other valuable coping techniques, I have much more confidence in my ability to face even the most difficult life challenges with my head held high. Thanks Lisa!” - SGT RW, Devens, MA
“Lisa is the first therapist that I have ever felt comfortable turning my chair towards and having a frank conversation with – there’s no sense of judgment. Being pretty self aware, I thought there was no point to therapy, since I knew what the issues were already. Instead, I discovered that looking at these issues in a different way, with a different clarity, actually makes all the difference in the world. I am just at the beginning, but with Lisa’s support I am living in the moment.” - Christine, Beverly
Lisa’a approach has allowed me to strengthen my confidence and turn it into real marketable value. She is far more than a ‘life coach,’ as she becomes an active member of your support staff and, in the end, becomes your best and closest advisor.” - Chris, Boxborough
“Lisa takes a uniquely effective approach to counseling. In the past, I’ve been frustrated by ‘analysis paralysis’ where all you did was talk about your past and get occasional raised eyebrows, nods, grunts or maybe a ‘say more about that’ or ‘how did that make you feel’ in response. Ultimately a lot of talking with very little light brought to the subject. Lisa takes a more active approach, more like a very professional and impartial friend. You are challenged when it’s required, but also supported. She digs in, makes enlightening comments and helps guide you along your own unique path to the realization of your personal vison.” - Dana, Westford

“I was concerned about my weight and my self-esteem when I met Lisa. Very quickly I realized her amazing gift for teaching others how to enjoy a balanced and happy life. After consistently working with her for over a year my journey into my new-self has been incredible. I have learned to trust myself, take care of myself, and, most important, to like myself. Now I begin each day with a new sense of confidence knowing I have one good choice and one-not-so-good choice for each and every decision I need to make. Lisa has taught me to listen to my heart first then my brain and it works every time.”-S.H.-Boxborough, MA
