I wrote Recovering Beauty for a very particular kind of woman, so you could know the truth of who you really are.
And who are you?
You are magnificent, powerful, smart, creative. You’re also sensitive, an empath who easily absorbs others’ energies and emotions which may mean you give too much leaving you feeling depleted. You may be a bit of a perfectionist (or a lot of one) which makes it hard to actually enjoy all of you hard work and what you’ve created. You’re running on empty so much of the time and we need to really find ways to renew and renourish you from the ground up…otherwise the whole eating piece runs amok.
You can find very specific guided ways to find relief from binge eating, and overeating. Not through the usual deprivation of diet and exercise mentality. I don’t believe in taking things away… but in adding things that fill you up and nourish you so that the food doesn’t have to be the main event anymore. So that you can live in ways that reflect your beliefs and values and savor the success of what you’ve created in your life, or the vision of what you know is waiting to be created.
Without having to wake up everyday wondering “what am I going to do about my eating”? It’s exhausting and you have better things to think about. Let me help.
I wrote this book because I’ve been where you are, for most of my life. This is very much an insider’s perspective but you also get my professional “smarts” from working with hundreds, probably more, clients just like us who wanted relief from food and body issues more than anything.
